Humor is used to make us more accepting of things we normally would disapprove of such as illicit sex, homosexual relations, drug use, etc. Tyler Perrys movies all have a moral to them and portray life as it is. “From what Ive been seeing for several years there is far too much gore, violence and strange movies coming out. Every so often a good movie slips in there. It appears sex sells, but, it also impresses the youth of today that this is the way their sex life should be or at least close to it and movies are make believe and have always been for as long as movies have been made. Even movies that are about true events or real people are often changed to make it sexier or more exciting. There was one script writer I admired a great deal and it was a lady that wrote the script for Seabiscuit (the story of a one eyed jockey that was too tall and a small horse that raced during the Depression.) The author of the script said that she would only let them make the movie it they followed exactly what she had written with few changes and that they did. The movie was a success. “
