Election PaperEssay Preview: Election PaperReport this essayWho did you vote for? Not Seb Giuliano?! You must be crazy! Seb Giuliano is the ideal mayor for any city, and heres why, Seb was born and raised in Middletown, so he knows a lot about the drastic changes that has occurred. Mr. Giuliano was excellent when he
made promises to decrease crime, lower taxes and help with the construction of MHS. I believe you should have supported Seb, and you made a big mistake.
Everyday the crime rate in Middletown is getting worse and worse. Citizens are being stolen from, harassed, and even murdered. After reading a mailed in article about Sebs take on the crimes in Middletown, I noticed Guiliano said, “Sadly, only lip service has been paid to making our streets clean of litter from aggressive panhandling and nuisance crime.” I strongly agree with him. And you should too. Dominique Thornton, previous mayor of Middletown, has made many promises. That hasnt been kept. Seb Giuliano has a plan for a safer Middletown. He wants to have community policing. He wants to get the police and citizens working together. Not only is this a good idea, but it is also a way to prevent innocent people getting harassed or stolen from. Drugs are a big problem in Middletown, and Seb had come up with an idea to give rehab programs for those who want it and need it. It will help with crime and will help stop other problems. So do you see so far why you should have voted for him!?
Have you or some one you know ever had a problem with taxes? Well did you know that ever since Dominique Thornton has been mayor, he has raised the taxes by 55%?
That goes to show how Thornton really was as a mayor. Seb Giuliano said himself that he “wont play the blame game.” He said he would open City Hall to those who havent been heard. Seb will stop talking and get to work. He will help others with their taxes, and will lower the high rates for houses. Thornton also claimed a new power plant was paying taxes, when it wasnt. Giuliano has proof, after 8 years of increased taxes; the power plant obviously wasnt working. Seb has come up with ideas to stop the tax problems in Middletown. Also because of taxes many workers are being fired from their work, because Middletown doesnt have enough money to pay them! How would you like it if you were fired, just because of the Mayor? Giuliano is a big positive for Middletown. And you should regret not voting for such a loyal
Thornton was born in South Carolina and took a long time to get what he wanted. He worked in the City for 38 years, before moving to Brooklyn. During that time he also worked in NYC for the NY Department of Transportation & was part of the NYC Council. When I took an interest in Mr. Thornton I couldn’t help but look his way for work. That could have ended up being impossible, especially without a new mayor. However, the New York City Council was in the process of proposing a re-elected Mayor. Now, all the city members were running for office and the New York Governor was the only one. That would be our most important political change. Mr. Thornton said he is going to run, but that he would not stand for it. After all, he is still the only candidate for the City Council. He should never be considered for his position. He should be a big supporter of our country which is where he will be a good fit. He said:
I wouldn’t be surprised if Mr. Thornton went as far as making the most in his public remarks. We would have a great mayor.
As with Thornton, the new Mayor & Mayor Webb have been discussed with some great guys in the City. Joe Hatton is a strong guy too, though, at least some of the Council Members in that council were tough on him and made a ton of progress toward a better relationship on these issues.
They also spent $100 million renovating the office tower in Manhattan, in addition to the existing buildings and to build a new one in downtown Brooklyn. We are very excited about all this and our current Mayor and Mayor and Mayor was an amazing role model.
We don’t have to be at all political on issues but we are all in it together to raise the standard of our city. We also have to share the challenges that we face with our neighbors and to help them solve their problems.
Mr. Weiner had an amazing idea. He wanted to do something about tax and power prices that the city had taken too long to do. A lot goes into that and why it is. It is important that we see what happens and get to work.
It is also important we take a look at his vision for our city and make sure it is something we can all work together on.
And this is why Thornton is still on our side.
I will work with him to see what we can achieve after the election. I am sure Mr. Thornton is ready.
The only problem I have got for myself after the election is that I am not very optimistic about the outcome.
Not that I would ever think much of it with Mr. Weiner. But we have a lot of work to do to help make our city stronger before we have another election. He has shown that he is willing to work with us.
