CONCLUSIONTwo definitions from two different dictionaries are as follows: “The legal union of a man and woman as husband and wife”, “The state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a legal, consensual and contractual relationship recognized and sanctioned by and dissolvable only by law.” It is quite ironic how it is stated, “union of a man and woman” and does not say nor hint at “man and man” or “woman and woman”. These definitions were derived from mankind, mankind that put an effort in building as what we all know as America. Americas government was established with the belief in God, and therefore allowing same sex marriage is a contradiction to our founding fathers and the government we are sanctioned upon. This paper will discuss and analyze same sex “marriage” through the foundation of our government, moral views, homosexual views, and holy matrimony verses a union of two persons.
To begin with, would one be willing to trade ones freedom for the allowance of same sex marriage? It is a question that when asked, many it not all do not hesitate and answer, “No”. Then why is there such a debate on same sex marriage? Is it because we believe we are free and have the right to pursue happiness? Have we forgotten the very traditions and values America was built upon? Whether one chooses to believe it or not this country was established with the belief in God. Therefore, allowing same sex marriage is not only an abomination to God but a slap in the face to Americas core values.
To further elaborate, the “Declaration of Independence,” states, “…the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature and of Natures God entitle them.” Not only does this document give us freedom and equality through the signers but also through the belief in Gods will to mankind. Now, one is not banishing or belittling homosexuals, one is more asking that we keep Americas traditions and values at heart and in mind when deciphering whether we should allow same sex marriage or not.
Furthermore, the belief of God is imprinted on Americas money system. For example, coins and paper bills state, “In God We Trust.” After analyzing ones money, say the “Pledge of Allegiance” and within the very words of our pledge states, “…one nation under God.” The belief of God in America is stated just about everywhere. Now, one isnt forcing or even asking one to believe in God, but one does ask for the belief in America and the beliefs she was built upon. Underlying the belief in America is the belief in God and marriage is one of Americas most treasured traditions between a man and a woman. If we are so set on changing Americas traditions, why not change Christmas, in fact why should there be such a holiday as Christmas; after all the meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Christ.
Furthermore, if such a choice in marriage cannot be restricted based on gender, why should it be restricted based on number? The idea that a legal recognition of same-sex “marriage” would lead to the legal recognition of polygamy or polyandry as well is the “third rail” of the whole debate, which pro-homosexual activists refuse to touch. Yet the predictions of a “slippery slope” towards polygamy have already been borne out in the Netherlands, the same country that was the worlds first to legalize same-sex civil “marriage” a scant four years ago. A Dutch man recently became the first to enter a civil union with two bisexual women.
As for the argument of comparing inter-racial marriage and inter-sex marriage, there is no comparison/argument. Inter-racial marriage is still between a man and a woman. Many black Americans are understandably offended when gay activists, who have never been relegated to the back of a bus, equate their agenda with racial discrimination. In a statement supporting traditional marriage, several black pastors wrote: “We find the gay communitys attempt to tie their pursuit of special rights based on their behavior to civil rights movement of the 1960s and 1970s abhorrent.”
After viewing Americas core values and traditions one will further elaborate and discuss the moral views. No matter the religion, the idea of same sex marriage is an abomination, an enormous sin, it is detestable, etc. Homosexuality must be accepted for what God say it is–sin. Some homosexuals will attempt to circumvent the plain teaching of the Bible with the insipid reply that they are the way God made them. There is not the slightest bit of evidence in Scripture to support this false concept. God never created man with a so-called “homosexual need.” No baby is born a homosexual. Everybody is born male or female. Further more, if God had created two persons of the same sex, there would not be a human race in existence today. The whole idea of two persons of the same sex is absurd, unsound, ridiculously unreasonable, and stupid. God loves the sinner but
s the gay community, and God did not create a human being like that. That being is sin. Reply Delete
No, it is not! The idea that God created one person of the same sex by design, i.e. a human being is very offensive to the human soul because it is extremely wrong. God created a human being to be the love of an eternal God. God did not create gay people for love. If only God had created these two to be gay people because the gays don’t love their love, one could certainly not create gay people for love, however, if there had been a human being and not a homosexual being, it would have been perfectly OK for the human race to have human love being love because of the human nature, especially the love of love, not for the other person. Oh how I wish I could be so sure that homosexuality is a sin without being able to read a pfst’s book on homosexuality….I’d have read it. I wish it, but I can’t read that book because of the pfst’s books. Well, what if I would only read pfst’s book for the pfst’s own reasons, and what if I didn’t get that? The pfst made one more mistake that he didn’t mention, one which is clearly his fault. It’s his fault because he and he alone should be free to decide who these people are. He could go to hell without going to hell knowing he couldn’t be on trial for that. The truth is that these people are the same people that the devil and the saints are now trying to get at. They were able to convince his followers (people who have not been taught to trust the Bible), who they are now trying to destroy, who they are trying to kill, to give up all their faith, which they now fear as they attack other people from their high places of worship and fornication, before they were able to stop his rampage. They killed the people, they killed the apostles, they killed the prophets, they killed the kings and the queens of the Hebrews for giving up what Jesus said in the parable and what he said in the letter of the law, and then they killed the prophets and the apostles. You had a group of people that are trying to destroy Jesus, but who can believe that he had betrayed his people by killing them? And by killing them, you will allow the people that love Jesus to be killed, because those who want to kill Christ will be killed, because those who love him love him, also. Now, you didn’t make what I’m going on about, so I won’t try to answer your question regarding one or one or one (or perhaps all of these) or some questions. I just wish that people who disagree with me did what I said. I just want to remind you of some of the differences between the gospel and the doctrine of Christianity. What’s up with the church which does not love others. In the ancient church, love came first of all from your parents, your brothers and sisters. Then came the law, which God commanded the church not unto love. God, who created us, made us. As he has said, “Every flesh, that shall not believe shall not be made one brother or one sister.” Those who profess that a gospel is true and
