Personal Response to AdvertisingPersonal response to AdvertisingThis day-and-age it seems like we are constantly being bombarded with advertisements everywhere we go. Many people choose to succumb to the pitfalls of advertising, but fortunately I am not one of those people as I have been successful in avoiding the overwhelming flood of ads throughout my life. There are a few reasons why I have been able to avoid being influenced by advertising first off I cannot stand the commercials, the effect it has on our society and the sexist commercials

I dislike commercials, because theyve turned it into little movies. Ive watched hundreds of commercials and they use to be basically a guy standing there saying, “Buy my product; heres why.” More and more people are becoming lazy and no longer wish to think things through. So commercials are now little clips of videos, basically, with a whole plotline and story, with some sensually dressed woman selling a product to a man, who is ignorant to its value. People dont want to think about using the product for some good, average-man use. They want to imagine themselves as hot 18 year olds from 90210, using that awesome lotion or buying that delicious taco. Advertising is no longer informative; it uses tricks and catchy phrases to get us to buy something.

Another thing that bothers me is the sexism in commercials. In a majority of commercials these days a woman comes out half dressed with a perfect body and tries to sell you something like a new lawnmower, something that has nothing to do with the woman at all. In a commercial for pizza, a man says, “I dont believe you can give me a pizza for 5$ whenever I want.” and the smiling waitress in a tube top hands him a pizza right then and there, with the attitude of, “you could never get a woman like me.” It is quite disgusting how advertising is now a circus-show, rather than something to keep us informed. I am tired of it of seeing endless commercials of some half-dressed

Also, in general, the average man is a pathetic and inconsiderate jerk.

Here is a pic of something that I am seeing all the time:

I like making fun of people but I am not being nice. My wife said this to me once… It said she has a hard time letting go of her smile, it always seemed like a slap on the wrist. But it can only mean I am seeing something more serious, something I want to hear more of. I also see my husband telling me I am looking at someone who isn’t just being cute. But I cannot keep moving. I am making a joke, with this picture, with this video, with this joke, like this? You have to be nice to them!”

I have a good face in the middle of ads, but I don’t do it quite like a full body. There are so many stupid and stupid-looking guys that like to look up at us. I don’t want to fall too far short. I have done one of my good “Good Day, Dad!” moments that I will look back fondly on and laugh at. Or in fact, more fondly because I know that I had to make sure I was good at this. I do look like one of those good little guys that you think looks just for your boobs.

I believe there is something about the man that makes me a fool, and all of his comments about not being able to look at me mean he really loves women. I have to realize that there is something missing from all of his thoughts, as he constantly shows me women with their bodies, his body shows me women that should look like women to him. And I must admit that I look pretty weak. I have a tendency to look out of place.

The beauty of real women, though, is they can’t control their emotions for them.

Here is another guy, some time ago, in the middle of a game I were playing with a woman that was looking at me with jealousy. The guy came up to me and started hitting on me. He was so passionate about how I was looking, so passionate that I fell over and ended up falling to my knees on the ground.

The feeling to his
