Smart Phone Analysis
Objective
Nowadays, Hong Kong citizens have been inseparable to smart phones, especially students. It is because they want to catch up with the daily updated information and maintain close contact with the others. As the use of smart phones has become more and more popular, we would like to investigate this kind of trend.

In this report, our objective is to find out the factors that Hong Kong students may considered when buying a new phone and also to investigate the psychological behavior of using smart phones among Hong Kong students.

Respondents
Our target respondents are the students who study at secondary schools (senior form) and universities. They are aged between 16 and 26. We aim at interviewing around 250 respondents.

Questionnaire
We create the questionnaire so as to get some data for reference and further analysis. Our questionnaire contains three parts, including total 25 questions. The first part is to collect the personal information from our respondents. The next and third part is going to investigate the buying and using behavior of our respondents.

Q1: Gender
Unfortunately, we only interviewed 209 respondents. About 58 per cent of our respondents are female and about 42 per cent are male. Female respondents are more than male slightly. We can see that the sex of respondents is almost equal. Thus, we can believe that there is not sexual bias in our statistics.

Q2: Highest Education level
We want to know the education level of our respondents. To see which group of people’s using and buying behavior we are investigating. In the result, we found that about 75 per cent respondents are university students.

Q3: Do you own a smart phone right now?
We set this question in order to know whether everyone have their own smart phone. The statistic shows that about 83 per cent respondents have their own smart phone. It is a large amount compare with the one who don’t have smart phone. However, there is also 17 per cent respondent don’t have smart phone. It means not everyone have smart phone nowadays.
