Social networking has came a long way since (aim) american online instant messenger. With aim teens were simply just text messaging on the computer and every now and then they would send pictures and if they had webcams chat live. More recently technology has pushed social networking past any threshold that we once imagined. Today we have sites like Myspace and Facebook, they are not as private as older networking sites. Today all someone has to do is look at your profile and they can find almost everything but your social security number. Many teens post pictures of there half naked bodies and have started sending naked pictures at very young ages. Social networking has made a change for the worse and it is only a matter of time before we as parents can not control what our children are learning because of these social networking sites.
