Are social networks and modern ways of communication based on high technology good for youngsters or not? It is a complex and controversial issue. The first text emphasis the problem of teenagers addiction to social networks and the inability of young people to express their thoughts and feelings in real live conversation  in our Information Age, a time when everyone might prefer to communicate  via the Internet. On the other hand, the second text focuses on the positive aspects of young people’s ability to communicate in so many ways without having to take into consideration “petty” details, like peoples location.There is some truth, in my opinion, in what the second text is underlining- an incredible possibility to be in touch from a great distance with your friends or kin. Indeed, every new generation lives more dynamically than the previous ones and wherever you are you had better be available for calls since it might concern crucial work issues or urgent news from your friends.I disagree with the first texts emphasis on these issues. I am totally convinced that an ability to express your thoughts or to communicate in the “offline” world, depend more on a persons character rather than on new technology. I can agree with the fact that for some people Internet social life has replaced their real life, however, I cant share the authors point of view that this problem is common to almost all young people. Our world is changing by the minute and many new inventions appear, undoubtedly not all of them might be considered useful, however, a lot of relatively new improvements have made our lives easier where communication is concerned.
