The main theme of the play was to represent people’s action against color racism. The play was set around the time when the bombing happen where four little girls were killed attending church at Birmingham.

The atmosphere of the play itself was very good. The scenery was really realistic. The sound effect and lighting were so real that it made the person who was watching the play felt like that he or she was actually witnessing the event at that time. The theater was about right size because people can hear clearly what actors or actresses say even though they sit on the back. Sound effects were matched with the story and with the right time. While everybody tried to escape from the classroom, Miss Cartright decided to stay there because she thought that if she left the room, people who did this would never stop doing this threaten. After the teachers and students decided to do protest, they chose to stay in the room even though officers came to tell them to move away. Because of the protest, Miss Cartright, Miss Powers and couple of students became victim.

Setting of this play did not almost change at all. Sometimes, actors brought tables or chairs into the main area, but other parts did not change at all no matter where the play was performed such as in a classroom or in a house. The effect of lighting was effective for audience because it made the play better. It was kind of
