One way the specialist helps to re-establish credit worthiness is by helping clients adopt more responsible credit habits.Establish Concrete Payment HistoryIdentify as well as recommend ways for clients to generate new lines of credit.  This process may consist of the client opening one or two at the most revolving credit card accounts that will assist him or her in building a concrete credit and payment record.  Eradicate Obsolete Credit InformationIt is imperative that a credit repair specialist is familiar with the innumerable statute of limitations pertaining to consumer debt for each state.  Utilizing his or her knowledge, the credit specialist can review his or her client’s credit report and identify items that are obsolete or surpasses the statute of limitations for a particular state.  Next, the credit repair specialist will contact the three major credit bureaus in order to have outdated debt(s) removed from the client’s credit report.
