During the late 1800s Imperialism had its positive and negative effects on the political, economic, and social lives of the people in the countries such as Northern Africa, the Americas, and Europe. Europe especially gained an immense amount of power and wealth from Imperialism. Europes Dominance, and Eagerness for exploration as well as colonization lead to the start of a new era during the late 1800s and a theme that would continue throughout the world and continues to be a concern in todays society: Racism and Slavery.
