The Organizational Structure is clear with one President, Kathy Kudler, owner and controlling party of Kudler Gourmet Foods. Under the president there are three store managers, an administrative assistant, the Director of Store Operations which oversees two accounting clerks and two computer support specialists. Director of Finance and Accounting, oversees a purchasing manager and inventory manager which also has a purchasing assistant. And Director of Administration and Human Resources has an H.R. assistant and administrative assistant.
The Store Managers have the responsibility to oversee their staff and take care of the success of Kudler Gourmets daily operations. The managers of each store have beneath them two assistant managers, four department managers, stockers, clerks, baggers and cashiers. Managers must keep corporate policy and procedures consistent with each store. The Managers are required to establish budgets and operating guidelines, prepare work schedules and assign employee tasks. They have to justify pricing and reports to corporate as well as coordinate advertising and sales promotions. They must keep track of all sales receipts and transactions daily for financial department reports. Along with preparing requisitions to restock merchandise.
The Director of Finance and Accounting oversees accounting clerks and computer support specialists. His duties include financials, budget accounting and payroll. He also prepares financial statements and reports on each store keeping track of all receipts and records. He prepares general ledgers, revenue despersments operating expenses and audits. He supports cost analysis and rate studies along with financial systems and developing procedures for existing and future improvements. He works closely with store management reviewing all financial statements pertaining to each stores success.
