This cognitive operation provides a blueprint to the organization matching strategic planning with the business whole operation by evaluating organizational goals and addressing the areas that need to be improve. According to Zuckerman (2012), “The strategic planning process consist of four steps the environmental assessment, organizational directions, strategy formulation and implementation planning.” The information in this paper is about starting a strategic planning process for a skilled nursing facility. It will determine and address how to train the staff to implement this program into the organization by involving the entire organization.
The consultant will go through the strategic planning process with all of the staff members in the organization. On Thursday, February 12…
We will present a plan of action for this month’s General Conference and how this will be structured. Each day, we will provide an interactive discussion, on Wednesday February 13, after which the participants will be asked to take to the floor of the conference which will take place on February 21st at 10:00 am eastern time. On Thursday, two days later the topic of discussions will be discussed: how to create or sustain a comprehensive proposal for the proposed new nursing system and how this might be done. The purpose of our forum is to bring together the nurses and patients to present and reflect on their current nursing plans (if in need of a replacement) and be honest in our efforts to do so. Finally, one day after we have closed, we will present another plan to help coordinate the events at the end, to let people know if people care, what is required to be done when things are going well, what needs to be done, and the plan will be updated in this manner.
In general, we plan for a major change in the management roles within this organization…
Our main aim will be to create a new control center for this nursing system, and will address the need of physicians to manage the various areas of care that are necessary within the system. Ideally, such a system will consist of a health and wellness committee and three individual care members. When the new nurse-analyst (a single patient) is involved, he or she must be highly competent with an eye to the overall health and well-being of the individual patient and the staff. Each day, these medical staff members will lead a group of patients to share their interests with other patients and their carers. At the same time, the new health and wellness committee will have an established position within the organization where the main work has to be undertaken. All our work will be carried out by the newly reorganized nurse-analyst responsible for both maintaining operational health and quality of life within the system. The new committee will also be able to advise the staff of changes and to identify any changes that are needed in the current system that would improve patient care and staff quality of life. All stakeholders in the healthcare space will have the ability to influence the changes in the system. Some patients may not be able to afford medical care, others may not have a significant need for hospital services, and sometimes they will need to choose between using doctors’ services or going without. Regardless of the factors that determine how these patients would respond to nursing care, we believe that in an evolving system of nursing, in which nursing is the mainstay of everything, nurses will have much greater influence on the health of the general patient and the staff. As in all nursing, there will be more and more change. The change will be dramatic because many patients may change from one year to the next and then return to the same system as before.
Effective Strategic PlanningSome healthcare facilities tackle sizable strategic planning and organizing, yet much of this labor fails to accomplish the performances and effects cited and the outcome brings about inefficient. This is why management should change the value of the company strategic planning by measuring the operation of the company so it can prevent different issues that may arrive during this process. The first stage for this process is to discuss the nusing facility mission and vision statements and determine what is the goals for both of these statements. However, if one or both seem to be obsolete then management and others should work together whereas they can change the statements for improving the company directions in order to meet the patients needs. Good training and follow-ups can improve the possibilities and outcome for the strategic planning process so it will be successful and everyone involved will be prepared to work together in achieving the same goals. These procedures will have everyone no what department he or she works in tomethodically think about and discuss the issues at hand.
Strategic Planning MembersA strategic planning process usually is led by the facility high-level of adminstrators, board of directors and strategic planning sub-committee; however, for this planning process the consultant wants to involve everyone so this committee will consist of the existing members and adding one representative from each department. The consultant believe that staff at all levels are an important part for this process and for the plan to work for nursing establishment it vital that goals are understood by everyone. This planning process will be established for the next five years and taking into account the businesss operational procedures, the current finances, and the company future objectives by determining the issues that need to be look at right now and whether they need to completely change or adjusted. The strategic planning meeting will assist the organization in predicting changes in its business activity, the financial statements, patients, personnel, in which all have an effect on the forthcoming operations. According to Chadwick (2009), “A nursing facility, knows who, where they are, and where they are going are all imperative.”
Step-by-Step Planning ProcessMission and Vision StatementsThe frist step in setting up these procedures will be going through the different strategic levels making sure everyone understand each one of them by defining the existing mission and vision statements. This will ensure that both statements is centered around the well-being for the
