Elsa SchiaprelleElsa SchiaprelleELSA SCHIAPARELLI (1890 ~ 1973)I couldnt see where her uniqueness coming from when I look at Schiaparellis childhood. She was from well-established family and she was well educated. She was born in 1890, Rome, Italy. She had many talents. Her studying philosophy didnt make many connection with art and fashion in my mind with her later shocking designs. Even for me who saw many things in todays life, her designs were shocking and somewhat crazy. I could imagine how shocking it would be for the people in that time. Because most of the designs are feminine and focused more onto how to be look good or elegance.
Like I said before, her designs are far apart from Chanel and Poiret, but somewhat similar. First, I dont know where she got her ideas like that. She uses a lot of images that seems like not fitted into the dresses but somehow, I see it not as weird looking dress that is unattractive but as well-blended dress with elegance and classic looks. It is the shapes and colors that make the dress united and attractive. Influences of Cubism and Surrealism are also the reason why her design is unique. The artists who worked with her contributed the pattern and colors. She worked with Dali, Beroatd, and Cocteau to design fabrics and accessories. Some of designs that thought were weird and crazy are bug
I understand that the clothes in The Bazaar are not for everyone but I hope that everyone can enjoy them. I think a lot of people just want to buy what’s out there but I have yet to hear from a single girl who does not like a lot of dresses and whatnot. My hope is that people can find it and find a collection that would appeal to them too.
To all your readers I have to agree with what the creators did: It is very easy to create interesting and attractive outfits by getting rid of common things that people wear and to get people to feel less anxious about them. To do this I made a lot of mistakes and made the outfits look weird. The colors, textures, feel of them, and the looks of the colors seemed to fall outside the traditional range of a dress. Although I have read reviews on this blog to the other end of the comment section about costumes, you can always find a good tutorial about a similar situation. If your question was good, I have some answers and will keep this article updated as I add more stories to it.
To you I would like to say you don’t have to go as far as Chanel or Poiret to create a costume. While I certainly think that it is great to want something that a lot of people can get and try to replicate, I would like to say that there isn’t a single wardrobe that nobody can go to without thinking of that. This seems to be the same in The Bazaar, where a lot of people don’t own a few items and if they do buy it you must buy it. I find that people are really shy about buying the items they like and I hope that we also start to show the world that this is what it looks like and make people feel different from the usual and just have fun.
To all your readers I love that you share the same way that I do… I really love the concept of this blog and I hope that once people get familiar with our designs and patterns here in The Bazaar, they will have a good look at what we are all about.
To all your readers I’ve been really happy with The Bazaar. This has been the most comfortable wardrobe I own so far and I look forward to coming back to it again. For those who do not know, The Bazaar is where it all began, but in many ways it was a joy to be here. I look forward to using my design skills to promote The Bazaar to everyone with
