Your Ideal RoommateEssay Preview: Your Ideal RoommateReport this essayI think Id want someone who was really intelligent and was after the meaning of life. Someone whod had insights that I hadnt who could really bounce ideas back at me in a conversation. Someone who wasnt afraid to break with the norm and who didnt care if he was a nerd. Someone with a subtle wit that most people would need to think to laugh at, but who could appreciate and indulge in obvious humor and silliness. Someone whose musical tastes were all across the board, and who didnt really care whether his tastes were considered overly popular or even overly eclectic. Someone who was conscious enough of his own mind to catch himself doing something out of insecurity or the need to please, or arguing for his own idea without heed to holes that had been cut in it. Who, in that situation had finally learned to throw aside an injured ego to embrace objectivity? And of course, as I knew I would, I am describing a clone of myself.
I think I would be exhilarated to meet this clone, I think if he were male we would be immediate best friends, and if she were female we would be lovers. In the end however, I would not be as close with this person as with someone with more differences, whose sense of humor was different, or whose taste in music was very centered. The clone and I would immediately tell each other everything, and in that way achieve a sort of superficial closeness, the closeness of not having to have worked to get close, and not having to have dragged out details and facets of anothers personality. People need to make projects out of each other, need to feel they have worked to get whatever they want in order to really enjoy the spoils. Just give me someone really intelligent and let us shape each other.

That’s pretty amazing, we do this every day to make sure our friends share in some glory, together there is a strong feeling that they are all here for the same reason. It really helps to be like these guys, these are our own friends. They get our hopes up, that they actually think the same way, we just have to get to know them, get to know them. I think at this year’s New School they were both young and very passionate at this time, so that’s important to do. For me, they both have just great chemistry and they could really do a lot better than me. Even for me, that is a great feeling. It will be more enjoyable when we get to meet and make new things together.

I would like to say thank you for your time, I really love what you did, it’s great to collaborate, and to help others grow together. It really helped me not only by having my own ideas of fun and new ideas, but by knowing the things that made it work because people are really invested in others for their success with the projects. It gives the project its own style and uniqueness.
My personal opinion on my style goes way back to meeting with these people, when I was developing my art, I had to have a lot of fun and be good at something and never really let go of that idea, so I am very proud of myself to have been there for my fellow projectmates, and for you also.

I feel like you are the kind of people that have become very good at this, to work closely with and like each other, to get to know each other and really appreciate people’s company in creating something new, for me. In my opinion I would not be as familiar with what you do at these schools, as some have. I also feel like when I look around at the others I would rather spend my time with [expletive] someone that I would like to know who is there for the benefit of the project, and you would definitely know how to ask. I’d like to share a great example of being a little inspiration to someone before an event, who was only one of those people, after seeing my work. One of the reasons I’m so passionate about creating your art is because I think it could really make a difference for the future of this project at some point.
