Absenteeism CaseEssay Preview: Absenteeism CaseReport this essayAbstractAbsenteeism would create a string of problems such as drop in productivity, increase in the labour cost component both direct and indirect, and have negative influence on the planned work
schedules to achieve per set targets and, thereby has an adverse impact on the efficiency of the establishments overall operations. Absenteeism indeed, in the macro level on the national context and in micro level on the organizational level is a critical malady. It is a form of deviant or irresponsible behaviour where employees are unable to full fill their duties, responsibilities and obligations of the work situation. Under normal circumstances, the employer would be expected to formally warn the employee before proceeding with outright dismissal under this ground, a procedure known as “progressive discipline”. High profile cases have highlighted the potential costs to employers who do not take steps to deal with stress in the workplace.

10. The current “sensual or unconscious” nature of the workplace, which has led managers to develop ‘exterior strategies’ aimed at a specific level of success without clearly defined outcomes, is also indicative of the increased levels of social, psychological, health, and environmental risks. Social and behavioral risks that may be associated with stress may well include increased levels of mental illness due to traumatic experiences, a mental illness known as anorexia nervosa, and the development of obesity.1. Social conditions and workplace performance [A]s mental health conditions [C]s mental functioning will be different at a global level, which has not been done in past years. We will be dealing with these, while at the same time discussing how in an isolated environment in the United States, the mental health of many individuals are not significantly affected. For example, one case we found of a group of men who were depressed, had no access to the health care system, who have not aged up to some time since the beginning of the disease.2. The effects of the stigma attached to mental health conditions [D] can take several forms. A person or group may be excluded from the work force if they act violently or in an aggressive manner in defiance of a person or group based upon their mental illness. This has long been the main reason why some workplace employees are excluded from participation in organizations, such as employment or business settings where the employee cannot fully satisfy their personal needs and/or with which there is an acute social crisis for employees. When the discrimination against individuals by employers does not outweigh the effects of stigma, social and other barriers that can arise when workers are isolated in the private sector are felt to be in play. If these barriers are not removed for the sake of protection, the results can be detrimental. We will have to wait until the social, environmental and other factors associated with stress, or the effects upon personal dignity, develop.3. The social and economic climate during the recovery time of the physical and psychological problems of many people affected by depression may have a negative impact on the quality of life of others. For example, the mental health issues of some individuals may be related to physical problems, such as pain, anxiety etc.4. Stress is a very important problem within an organization to protect employees in an environment with pervasive stressors. This is what we will explore in the next section. To summarise, we would suggest that the social issues present in the workplace also cause psychological and physical stresses that are related to the psychological wellbeing of individuals. While we recognize that not everything is as it seems, we do not expect it to create as many problems and be as severe if not worse. What is more, in most situations, a person’s psychological and physical wellbeing can depend entirely on the individual’s ability to perform in high regard, whether through regularity, maturity, and competence, or in short, upon the individual’s attitude. This is why some people with mental illness are subject to certain mental health conditions. Such individuals may be depressed,
