Tangerine by Edward Bloor
Summary: A summary of Edward Bloors novel Tangerine, about a visually impaired boy who moves with his family to a town in Florida, and who comes to discover how his eyesight became impaired.

This story starts out when Paul Fisher and his family (mom, dad, and Erik, his mean brother) moving from Texas to Florida to a town called Tangerine.
When they got there, they realized that the location of the house is very bad because of the constant thunderstorms, and foundation that is termite infested, and the muck fire.

After they unpacked, Paul went for a tour in his school, Lake Windsor Middle School. Mike Costello is introduced, along with Joey Costello, who later would become an important character.

After that, he went to the soccer team, later, the coach said that because his mom turned in a form that says he is visually impaired (called the IEP form). Nothing else interesting happens that day.

The next day however, Erik told his family that Mike Costello got killed at practice because of a thunder. One thing to take notice later is that Erik and his friend Arthur (also an important character) were happy of the incidence, and was laughing and making fun of Mike. Only Paul found out.

A few days later, while Paul is at his school, something big happened. Like an earthquake, later, people told him its a sinkhole. It apparently, opened up and is swallowing a lot of classroom into the ground. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, but the damage is big. A big portion of the school is badly damaged. The emergency relocation plan was that hell go to Tangerine Middle school (fortunately, without the IEP) now, Paul can finally play soccer again.

In Tangerine Middle School, many people are introduced. That includes: Theresa, Victor, Tino and Henry. They are all the schools soccer player. Paul also made Joey to transfer to his school with him on the phone.

As the story goes on, Paul had some soccer games, and their team became undefeated. Erik also had some football games.
As the story proceeds, Joey starts to get sick on the new school, none of Pauls new friends likes Joey, and Joey thought that Paul is as bad as the other people. Joey finally went back to the other school, naturally, dropped out of the soccer team too.

Also, some complications includes robberies around the neighborhood, it happens
