SUPPRESSION OF DELAYED PACKETS IN NETWORKSSUBMITTED TO: PROF. SUDHA S.MEMBERS: AMIT SRIVASTAVA(13BIT0009), ROHIT MISHRA(13BIT0213), DAKSH ASIJA(13BIT0168), PARTHIVI VARSHNEY(13BIT0099)ABSTRACTThe motive for this research project is to provide the ideology of packet delaying in a network. The networks being used as of now are supportable to only two classes of traffic, due to which service takes a longer time in case of failure. Therefore the invention of OCGRR was done to overcome all such problems. Some of the higher priority classes supported by Existing System domains are: OCRR(O/P Contained RR algorithm), Priority Queuing ( PQ), OCRR, DRR+ and DRR++.All these classes are designed with originality supporting only two classes leading to Unfairness, non-Smooth Scheduling, higher Service time, higher Start up and Latency time.In OCGRR, frames in a small round are sent in a unique fashion using packet to packet advancement so that every stream inside a class sends at most one packet in the given small round. Therefore, destination receives packets from the same classes. Separate buffer stores output data streams before scheduling the frame.Buffers are pushed in frames with each frame consisting of only one buffer. After Scheduling transmission traffic occurs and transfer of data takes place according to their priority. In one single round only one packet is transmitted. Its requirements is a processor of 500MHZ and above, ram of 128 MB and hard disk of 10 GB size. It uses of JDK 1.5, windows 2000 server family operating system and SQL server databases. INTRODUCTION1.1 MOTIVATIONMajor Issues in network include delay, latency and jitter occurring in the network due to delaying of the packets. We came up with this idea to provide good bandwidth for the transmission of data packets, to reduce packet transmission time in the same stream and to support multi class traffic which can increase the performance of the network. This report aims at solving the above issue. 1.2 ISSUESSupport only 2 classes of Traffic.Unfairness.Non Smooth Scheduling.Higher Service time.Higher Start up and Latency time. PROBLEM DEFINITION2.1 PROPOSED SYSTEM:Its among the extended Technology of OCRR.Packet by Packet each class stream are send to Destination.Send one packet in each small round.OCGRR can be used to avoid the starvation of lower-priority traffic and improve the Existing System Drawbacks. The common approach to guide DiffServ traffic is to truly save all same-class packets from different sources in a shared FCFS (First Come First Served) buffer. Its difficult to regulate the service order of packets from different sources must be bursty source in a class may cause a higher delay and even loss for well-behaved streams within that class.OCRR to guide multi class traffic and provide extensive performance analysis.2.2. PROPOSED SYSTEM FEATURES:Reducing burst generation at the output port from exactly the same traffic streamMaintaining fair bandwidth allocation for competing network streamsMinimizing delay, start-up latency and jitter.Giving possibility to other classes to gain access to the bandwidth. To cut back packet intertransmission time from same stream.OCGRR Frame Structure[pic 1] Des 1 Des 2 Des3 [pic 2] Fig.1.12.4 Context Analysis Diagram:Data Flow Diagram / Use Case[pic 3]Fig. 2.1PROJECT DESCRIPTION3.1 MODULE DESCRIPTION1. Login ModuleUsed to check the user authorization.2. Source ModuleMaintenance and performance of client input data is its main objective. Hence, source data’s packet are forwarded to the server one after the other.Only one packet in each round is send to the scheduler.Given the chance to each class frames.3. Scheduler ModuleUsed to performing the following 3 operations…That isReceiving the message.Scheduling the message.Forwarding the Message. Here Maintain one queue .That Queue based all the above 3 process are performed.EnQueue and Dequeue Process are performed. At last after receiving and scheduling packets are forwarded to the corresponding own destination.4. Destination moduleReceive message from the server and displayed to the message area.
