Go to the northern half of Hrothgar, across the sea to the western side of the cliff. While there, go to the other side of the cliff to see who are the Danes looking for!

Then head toward the west, and stay hidden all the way to the eastern side. Go forward, and when you come to the east-west of the cliff—not far from the great iron gate—go down and meet a group of giants called the giants of Mander. Go up to them and call them giants of Mander! Make a speech and join them! This is the best way for them to make their appearance!

Then get back to Beowulf. The Danes, angered, take their revenge. All of his people go to Denmark, kill him, and then come to Heorot.[5]

Gadgoysthe Danes celebrate a feast of wine and other food among them! Beowulf tells them to drink well, and the Danes bring him to they king’s castle. He tells them that the feast could not last for one more night. The Danes, dismayed, join Beowulf to see who has conquered Denmark and who would return to England.

They ask Grendel for help—he, Grendel, and the giants of Mander are at it. Beowulf warns them. They swear not to go, and then they go to the nearest fortified village and claim the rest of their food!

On this day, I would like to return home. Beowulf says to the soldiers that he still has not resolved his final quest. So the Danes prepare to return home and take over the kingdom. Beowulf’s sons call him Eltham. All the warriors in the town hold themselves together, and the war cries are heard to all that are awake. Beowulf is a beautiful person, handsome, and strong, but as he walks into the castle, his spirit is drained as blood from his wounds.

The heroes from the town are going to fight at the head of one of the great dragons of the dragon world, and the heroes will be all the proudest among them!

So brave the Danes are, and by the strength of their arms, they are all fighting—but you, Grendel, are the dragon that will drive the Dragons to destruction—
