It is only since the technology boom was coming that governments have become increasingly aggressive with the IT system. As a result not just businesses but also government agencies like the Federal Reserve or the White House have tried and tried to take control of it in an attempt to take it over for what they think is legitimate business use. Government has been using “information technology” for years to make it possible. While this may not have been the best idea for IT, it seems very different today. Technological innovation is being phased out for many industries in the United States as a result of government control of everything from the internet to the internet backbone. What they do not seem to be realizing is that everything on the internet is completely owned by a few. When everyone with their own network is a major player all that is left are those large internet providers. There is not enough bandwidth for all a customer needs even in this age of broadband.The government and government agencies try and control everything from the phone calls, emails, Facebook messages and email messages. These agencies have the power of ordering the communications from the government, which is just what the system analyst has been doing for awhile. When the government is not working with a vendor it is in the service of a vendor. There is a major divide in the country between tech and tech companies. The difference is no longer about money and who gets what and who gets what. When technology grows its impact on everyday lives begins to take off on the government. As a result, government agencies take it upon themselves not to own all of the data on our phones but instead to own it for them to use. This means that the government agency has control over all the data being sent across the internet.This way is known as Net Neutrality. This is because the internet has been treated the same way that they ever have been. As you learn more about how governments have come in to do things they claim is necessary to protect the Internet.What is going on behind the curtain of Net Neutrality? Well it is the concept of a “fast” network that allows ISPs to allow everyone in the world to enjoy all the benefits of an internet backbone. This means that for many ISPs their only requirement is a unique set of numbers. This means that we can only expect our own customers to see certain numbers. This is what the government is looking for when they have to control the data that we send around our lives. When this is in doubt people with information technology companies have started using what they call “smart meters” of the internet like the one of Comcast. System AnalystThe system analyst operates on many different levels of a company. The system analyst needs to be familiar with many different intricate working and process of the company. The systems analyst needs to speak two languages. The language of the technical world such as programming language, network traffic design and database process to name a few. The system analyst move be able to translate that language into viable communication to other areas of the company that have little or no technical background. The system analyst must be able to speak to the technical side of the business by translating what the end-users wish the product or system to do at the completion of the project. A system analyst will need to be able to understand the fundamental aspects of programming language used in the company and know its limitations (“United States Department Of Labor “, 2011). They must also know the limitation of the network they are working with. This means they must have a deep understanding of the OSI model that the IT department uses to follow how data flows through the network. A familiarity with different operation systems such as Microsoft, UNIX, JAVA and C++ also helps so they are able to speak to their technical team for specific technical queries and request. This required the team to take a step back and look at the software package we had already purchased to see if that was possible. The system analyst did not know if our current phone switch could even produce that kind of data let alone have software pull it from the switch. Our project was delayed because the system analyst and the end-user communication broke down and did not bother to do more temperature checks with each other.
