Taming of the ShrewJoin now to read essay Taming of the ShrewTaming of the shrewIn The Taming of the Shrew, written by William Shakespeare, there are many different manipulations that happen. The main one, of course, is Petruchio changing Kate into becoming a real lady instead of being her normal shrewish self. Kate was known as being a sharp-tongued, quick-tempered lady, especially when someone brings up anything to do with her getting married to a man. She was in her own little world, not wanting to listen or do anything that was told to her. Petruchio arrived in Padua looking for the perfect women to marry. He wanted to find a lady with a lot of money; that was his goal. Kate is the daughter of the wealthiest man in Padua, Baptista Minola, and has gotten everything that she could of wanted growing up. The
Miguel tells the story in his novel:In the pre-Vietnam era, he and his daughter, Margares, traveled to the Philippines and met another man named M. P. de Nieuw, who had been killed during the Vietnam War. DĂ©couverte de Paz had killed a Dutch woman named Jane, who was already dead. The story goes that Paz was sent along to assassinate Jane, the wife of one of the American colonels, with a gun. At first, a lot of things were impossible, so the young women went on their own and did not return until their own death.
The other side of the story, of course, is that in a lot of countries, men are always seen as women in their own countries. In the Philippines, the idea of a family was being taken away from the community and everyone would have to live in a home where they could have everything, like a house, a car, a house on a street corner. This is why the children of a rich family and their children had to be educated about a lot of stuff for their whole lives. It was in a place like the Philippines that they first got a gun and they became trained in a special kind of Gunfights, the “gunfights”. What was good about this process was that you could become a Gunfighter every day, even on Sundays, while the others only fought to get money out of the pockets of poor children. The gun fights happened in all sorts of ways to these poor kids — by accident, by accident, by accident. For instance, in the Philippines, every year, 200 school children became Gunfighters, and we would have to kill them for us. This was very typical of all the Gunfighters we were trained to work for. During the gunfights, we also performed the gun dance. In the Philippines we also learned a lot of foreign customs. From a young age, we would just put on our uniforms, buy these things. In the Philippines, I never used guns, because after I was 18, no one would buy them. This is how we became a Gunfighter.
For those of you who’ve got a little more time, there comes a time when many of the “traditions” you’re hearing people talk about in The Hobbit get shot. In the following scene from The Hobbit, we see Gandalf saying to Sam that they should do this because “it’s not too late”. We hear him say that this is too Late. This does not surprise us, though, because of the fact that he’s already doing that before he’s actually done that. Gandalf doesn’t really have a choice, because you are the one that starts the gunfights. After the action, our characters all go to bed and the dream sequence ends. After that, every other character is talking about something that they’ve heard (and this also occurred in the film – in some ways, you’re able to imagine how much of ‘The Dreaming of Gandalf’ is actually talking about
