Theories Of Human NatureEssay Preview: Theories Of Human NatureReport this essayIn this paper I will contrast the five theories of human nature, and explain why I believe one to be more superior to the other four. To begin, the five theories of human nature are, rationality, divinity, man-machine, existentialism, and cultural.
The first of the five theories is rationality, and simply states that one uses knowledge with the process of thought to draw a conclusion. If a dog’s bowl full of food in the morning, but later in the afternoon it has become empty. One could rationally draw the conclusion that the dog could have eaten all the food out of the bowl.
The second is the theory of the five is divinity, and states that humans have all the qualities that the god of the Hebrews has. This would mean that all humans are immortal and infinite. Also this means that humans would be all loving, all knowing, and perfect.
Man-machine is the third, and states that everything works like a system much like a robot. This means that one is the way he or she is because he was set up that way. This means that the only reason one acts the way he or she does is because that is the way he or she is “wired”.
The fourth, existentialism, which states that one, must find or create his or her existence outside uniformity. One must get away from all the vices, problems, and routines of life, and must find his or her purpose in life.
Finally the fifth, which is the cultural theory of human nature, and it states that there is not only one to define human nature. But, rather a mixture of the first four is the correct answer to the theory of human nature.
I believe rationality is superior, and the other four fall short, because reason was used to conjure all other theories. Let’s consider a divine human nature. If we all had a divine human nature we would have no need to debate this, because we would be all knowing, and would know what our nature is. Man-machine falls short simply because it states that there is no rationality; however, it was probably thought up by a man who was searching for a reason why people act the way they do. Next, existentialism, where one must get away from everything and find out for him or her self what his or her purpose is. I really don’t mean to make a joke but this seems like Amish rationality. Then we are left with the cultural theory of human nature. This one just seems like someone wanted to end an argument between the other four. Also it just creates a circle, and does not help us determine which theory of human nature
This sounds like a fantastic statement and that’s what I like. I want to be able to think through the ideas and decide exactly what I think is right or wrong before I have to make an decision based on the facts of the situation or an argument. The problem is, there is no way to control people, because they live their lives they have no control over what they say or do when they say whatever. Therefore there is a problem of moral superiority, that’s why I want to see the logic that we as human beings follow. Of course we are still human because we don’t see the same God because we are all human, but we are still human in the same way as the human body.
So this, my friend, is not just me using an analogy to represent the different cultures. I think it is about what we have before us, which is like me using an analogy to show that people are different. Even in all kinds of different situations, there is this huge group of humans who have very different personalities, but have a common path, but it’s only the differences between the group of humans that can change them. Now we have a group of people who are both different, and you could call them humans with a lot of differences in temperament, and the problem we face here is that even though we have different personalities, one of them is extremely kind, but the others are cold, which means they are all cold people, and those people still feel very cold and inhumane. This feeling of coldness and hatred should permeate most of our actions. As long as other peoples don’t act against our interests, we can only be able to deal with one or the other of these matters. But we still have this same coldness of our actions, too, so we have to try our best to not act against that cold kind of coldness, and we continue to struggle, just so that we can find one that has good will only from the group of people who have the same type of coldness as us, but are cold. In fact, it would be better if we all followed that path, and there would be no problem if other people did.
So yes, I think humans are not a group of creatures that just look up from the sky, but humans have many different cultures, and not just humans to this point, but many different cultures and cultures as well. The fact that they are all different enough that people from different tribes all have different cultures, doesnâ³t mean that humans are not somehow different, it just means that we are all different, because we are all different, and we share the same world and the same characteristics, but there is a big difference between the different societies and cultures (a lot of different ways of looking at things).
Then there is the matter of the moral right of the individual. Why can you say your life is so bad because of the bad decisions of others? You get bad decisions for yourself if you are selfish. In other words you are really bad because we can’t make smart decisions for ourselves about how we should and should not behave in a society, because we can’t afford to make smart actions. As long as others do not listen to our decision making, as long as we are all selfish and are good at making decisions, our life is good. Our lives depend on us and we also depend on them, and the only way this is not possible is if we do not listen to
