I choose to write about the constitution and the propaganda of the declaration. In 1787 a group of men we referred to as the framers met in Philadelphia to discuss how the countries were run. This convention was held in Independence Hall during the hottest summer behind closed doors. From May to September 1787 a lot of arguing went on discussing what the constitution should actually consist of. Since the people felt that we had a weak government, they wanted to come up with a new way to run our country. The men known as the framers came from all over the country made up of the 13 states. Each state had a different idea of what the new government should be. Through the arguing, the men were going to have to come up with a compromised plan because that would be the only way to make all the states happy. First is the introduction, the second is the body and the last part is the conclusion. Thomas Jefferson had written the introduction of the constitution based on John Locks theories which came off as a political philosophical theory. John Locks ideas were based life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The idea behind this was to gain as many supporters as they could, so that when the government was getting out of control or becoming destructive to these rights, the people had the right to stop it and change the government. This document gives the people the right to abolish the old government and create a new government. After the introduction came the body which started the incitement toward King George the 3rd.
