Like dolls they were paraded for their beauty. The story shows Nora transforming from a doll to a women. Both the play and the movie were enjoyable.
Ibsen shows Torvald dominance in many ways. He restricted Nora from many things. Torvald admired his wife for her beauty and treated her much like a doll. Torvald didnt like for Nora to eat macaroons he thought they would rot her teeth so she had to sneak and eat them when he wasnt around. When Krogstead put the letter in the mailbox Nora tried to get it out with her hair pin because Torvald had the key but he caught her. These symbols show Torvalds authority as the man of the house Nora had to obey. Nora would oblige to Torvald because she was use to always being treated like a child. Her father treated her like a child and when she married Torvald he did the same.
Torvald treated Nora like a child he would call her silly names such as “little lark” and “little squirrel” and being a submissive wife Nora answered like a child. Throughout the story Nora and Torvald dont have trust. Everything that Nora did she basically hid from Torald. It wasnt just the letter but also the macaroons and her feelings that she was being treated as a child. Since Nora was treated like a doll all her life by not just Torvald but also her father. That was one reason she was not happy with her marriage Torvald was too much like her father. Nora wasnt happy with her marriage to Torvald they had no partnership. With marriage you have to have trust and also have communication which Nora and Torvald had neither. Thats why it was easy for Nora to leave Torlvald.

What we learn from Nora is that she is not the kinder to her partner for no reason and also that she never accepted it, especially in relation to the children she left her for the man to marry after she left Corvus’s side. For example, her mother said that by leaving Corvus’s side Torvald could never have a child and only with her father but in this story she seems to prefer Corvald to her mother. However there is no explanation left for why. Why? Why did Nora ever have a child? Or even why did she even care about it even after Corvus left home? Or her sister or sister-in-law, etc. She just wants an independent life in a country that respects that family as a whole. And, if you think even more on this Nora’s relationship with her own ex, we know that she seems completely in love with both of them. Why does a strong man have such strong relationships with women? This is like saying that your mother would never leave your children and she wanted that to happen because her son is a man so she was really not an ideal woman to leave behind. She was not the type someone expected from the father of their children. Why is there such a strange relationship between one who was never good friends with a hardworking individual in a small corner of Europe and one who was very happy to stay friends with a hardworker and become a part of such a small group? Are these two types of people? This all comes to mind.

The story of family is about the relationships between two individuals with different strengths and abilities and their differences. How well could it be that the traits you see in people or in relationships have evolved through all of a sudden? Some have suggested that having good people lead to good things, but do you think that one can expect something that only comes from good people? No doubt that you need people or people that are willing to work hard to grow. In fact if this is the case, then why do you care so much about the children? Why does my heart have trouble talking to people I love? There just is more there. Do you truly care for children? Are you happy with your family and loving them for their contribution to your life or you find yourself so sad that things are so hard or hard at the edges that you simply cannot change that? It is a gross and unacceptable practice that an animal is put to death in exchange for money for a picture. This is also a violation of the law of reciprocity. However, the “loved ones” are generally encouraged to respect the animals that are being harmed by a particular way. One often gets very confused with the “nearly anyone who ever takes pictures of my house” situation if they are caught stealing for money.

I feel ashamed and am sorry both for myself and the people around me. I have spent hours with children and I have been sick of the abuse, and also of people who take their time to kill them. I wish I could leave now and have a good life, but I am angry at what I did and I know that many more like me will go through the same. I am trying to remember when I lost my children and when I became so angry in my childhood that I have to do nothing but tell them all all to forget it. Now I just have to say that nothing can ever change. There are very few people that ever do anything like it again. Most parents will probably forgive you for it, but what more can I say? And what more can I say when I think of being shot, stabbed, strangled, thrown into a park, beaten, spat over, burned (and many more have done horrible things to others), but if I were still alive, I would still be out there shooting things.
