CODENAME : BLIZZARD is a scenario game held by Challenge Park Xtreme it was held March 9th, 2003. Players from all over the country attended the battle in the snow. Codename: Blizzard was the sequel event from Challenge Park Xtreme’s 2002 ICE WARS, and was a rematch between commanders Butch “Splatinov” Leeper and Tony “At Ease” Andrin. The “big game” was played over 200 acres of terrain, which was covered in about 2 feet of snow. The themed fields followed the story line which was started in the original game.
I decided to take the side of the USSR My day started to with a briefing from our company commander Butch Leeper. We were all instructed by Butch that we must take the town of Bedlom at any cost, protect our commander, and take out the NATO antiaircraft emplacements. I thought to my self how hard of a feet this would be considering NATO’s sole objective was to hold Bedlom and protect there antiaircraft emplacements. Each team had about 1000 players which varyed in skill from first time played to paintball vederans. Considering I was one of the more skilled players at Codename: Blizzard my job was to lead one of the small sqauds of about 40 players to start the raid on Bedlom. Bedlom is a small town of about 15 buildigs surounded by plains on 3 sides and a thick forest in the rear. Most of the towns defences were fokesd to the rear which was the logical pace to try to enter from. Knowing this I decided the best thing to do would be to split into a two sqauds. I sent the larger squad of about 30 men the the rear of Bedlom. While they were destracting the other team me and 10 guy to the wide open sides. While every one inside Bedlom were fokesd
