Introduction
Toyota which is formally known as the Toyota Motor Corporation was discovered and started up in Japan. As of now, it is currently one of the most famous multinational automaker with their headquarters stationed in Aishi, Japan. With the experience of manufacturing over 200 million vehicles, Toyota is pronounced as the eleventh largest corporation in rank of revenue. It was also labelled the largest automobile manufacturer in the year of 2010. Toyota promises to maintain the mantra of âKaizenâ which is believed to be the word âimprovementâ. In the year of 1937, Toyota Industries was extracted and founded by founder, Kichiiro Toyoda who effortlessly worked Toyotaâs way up in the automobile industry till this day. In the year of 1936, it was Toyotaâs first manufacture of a passenger car. Among the Toyota Motor Corporationâs group companies are Daihatsu, Lexus and Hino Motors. Aside from manufacturing automobiles as their core business, they have also developed a Toyota Financial Services division which assist in financial services. Besides that, they also venture into building and making robots. Toyota has been a renowned and reliable automobile brand that has been trusted by many of their consumers. The founder, Toyoda, has put in much effort into bringing Toyota into its global position currently in the automobile industry and expanded to diverse universal markets and countries. Toyota has been constantly improving by having researchers to research on different and updated automobile technologies. They believe that with the amount of money that they spend in researching, their automobiles will be a better and more satisfactory one for their consumers. Recently, Toyota has also ventured into the new technology of mass-produced hybrid gasoline-electric vehicles which sold greatly at the amount of 2 million vehicles in the year of 2010 itself worldwide. Toyota has so far been in the range of good and satisfactory quality and reliable standards in the vehicles industry. Toyotaâs brand sales rose to a digit of 9.2% primarily on the constant and high demand for the Camry and Corolla models. In the recent 2009, Aiko Toyoda has become the new CEO of Toyota Motor Corporation replacing the former Katsuaki Watanabe. To be in such a successful position as it is now, Toyota has ventured worldwide, building plants in most parts of the world for the purpose of manufacturing and assembling their vehicles. Toyota has penetrated their business in approximately 170 countries and regions throughout the entire world. Among the countries that supports their assembly and manufacturing plants are Japan, Australia, India, Sri Lanka, Canada, Indonesia, Poland, South Africa, Turkey, Colombia, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Czech Republic, Mexico, Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, Egypt, China, Vietnam, Venezuela, the Philippines, and Russia.
