Today I will discuss coming home to find my sons friend inside my kitchen looking through my kitchen drawers and my jewelry sitting on the counter next to him. I will explain my take on the situation and what I believe to be best the remedy for this problem. We will look see some programs they can perhaps detour juvenile delinquency and also see some of the consequences of juveniles entering the criminal justice system.
If I were to come home and find my door open and once inside I find my sons friend there I would immediately ask him what he is doing inside. After asking him why he is inside my home without my permission . I notice that he has some of jewelry and smells like marijuana I would ask him to leave my home to think about the situation and what I plan on doing.
Since this is my sons friend I would first go to his parents and see how we could possibly rectify the situation. I would ask ask if them if they have notice any changes in his behavior or school work. Once we have discussed this and the parents tell me that yes they believe that their son has been behaving strange lately.
I would let them know that I know he is a good kid and thats why I came to them instead of calling the police, this way hopefully he can keep the help he needs before this becomes a major problem and then they will not be able to control the situation.
