Two Types of Students
No matter where you go there will always be two or more types of students in every classroom. Whether it is elementary, middle school, high school, even college, these types of students exist! The most common types of students are the students that do what they need to do to maintain excellent grades, follow directions, pay attention in class and they work for the grade that they earn. They are usually called geeks, nerds, punks, teacher’s pet and occasionally the term for a female dog. On the other hand, there are the types of students that like to be disruptive, loud, and talkative, don’t care about their grades, usually cheat and usually fail.
The good student is the type of student that does what he or she needs to do to keep a good grade in the class. This student is very active in the classroom, they pay attention and they are not a distraction to the teacher or the students around them. This student turns in papers on time, does the assigned homework and reviews classwork. This student is never sent out of class or sent home because of behavioral problems. These are the type of students that teachers like and have no problem with in the classroom setting.
On the contrary, the bad students are usually the people in class that always like to complain about everything. They expect to just go throughout the course of the class without doing any work. They constantly goof off and talk in class repeatedly, they always give teachers/professors a problem. They always put the blame on someone else as to why they are not passing the class. The bad student always claims that the teacher or professor is “targeting” them. They have no sense of what is going on in the classroom and is usually the one to try to cheat their way through the class. In the long run, that same student will be the one to fail in that class.
