The people who uses weed do not consider it to be a drug. Even if people do not have a prescription for marijuana, they depend on it for a drug. For instance some people say they cann not function without marijuana, it help them meditate, give them an appetite to eat, and even makes them sleep. So, the plant has many uses besides the image it portray of being used as negativity. Even though I am not a user, I can see marijuana providing many benefits to the United States. Marijuana is continuing to gain its popularity. It is used by people from all walks of life. And it is also used many ways in life. Some people used weed to enhance recipes. Marijuana cookies, brownies, and other edible products contain marijuana. It almost seems like each state try to legalize marijuana. They use the method to consider it as a medicine to get it approve. States have legistlation that now legalizes the plant to make it legal for users who suffering from different disorders to use it legally,  The users must have a recommendation or prescription from a physician. A lot of users think that it is just simple to get a prescription, then you have the right to smoke weed legally. The law states that certain symptoms and syndroms must be approve in order to use the drug legally. As a matter of a fact, each state has the right to define the symptoms.  States such as California and Colorado are states that celebrate with the legality to used marijuana. Take this statement for an example. According to Bryan Owens (2014), “Under the previous program, the federal government provided a list of federally sanctioned medical conditions that would qualify a patient for medical marijuana. Doctors then completed a form confirming their patients’ medical condition and Health Canada issued an authorization to possess marijuana.F
