DrinkingDrinkingThe United States government believes that young men and women that are 18 are ready to fight for there country in military action, but not ready to buy or consume any alcohol . The government should seriously review its laws that stop its youth from drinking and driving , while Europe has a lower drinking age and now has a lower drinking and driving rate. There is also medical proof that alcohol help to lead a longer life and no matter what the drinking age is people will continue to drink .
There is one major difference between alcoholic drinking laws between the USA and Europe, the difference is that many place in Europe allow their kids to buy and consume alcoholic beverages at a low age. In stats it has shown that there is less crashes in Europe were the drinking age is lower , the average drinking age in Europe is 16 .The United States has a much higher traffic fatalities due to alcohol with its drinking age of 21. In the right state of mind the United States government should lower the drinking age and hope that there kids maturity raises with the lower of the drinking age , the Americans should also teach there kids the effects of alcohol at a younger age
Alcohol, a substance considered extremely harmful to young adults, does in fact have its benefits. In a resent article (www.applesforhealth.com) it lists the benefits of alcoholic consumption, its says that in moderation alcohol if good for the heart . Beer has been found to have ingredients that are good for the strength of the human structure. In an article in Health & Medicine Week (author unknown), it shows how minor alcoholic consumption of beverages such as red wine can help to stop heart disease and among other diseases from developing . This and many other studies taken has shown the fact that the drinking of alcohol can be beneficial. It is also known that young people have a lot of stress in there lives and they should at least be aloud to relieve this stress through alcohol.

I think it’s possible that most research on alcoholic consumption has relied on anecdotal sources, and this “facts” is more likely to be based on what is shown by the “experts”. I believe the research in this article by Dr. Andrew St. John was somewhat flawed, and it is possible that the article (in which the main authors are Dr. John, Dr. Paul, Dr. Michael and Dr. Richard M. Jones) have been wrong by not being fully accurate, it could have been written by a medical doctor or other scientists. For that, I wish to acknowledge the mistakes. The author is a health care worker in an online program to educate others about this important topic. This type of article by the author is very useful, especially because, they have worked against the research by Dr. Mark D. Leffingwell, who was the first to write a scientific analysis and a medical research paper for Scientific American, the journal that publishes scientific articles and papers on these topics. He was also the lead author for the first scientific study published in Alcohol, one of two such studies published about the effects of alcohol at rest in humans.

In parts of Europe , moderate drinking by teenagers and even children under their parents watch is aloud. Though the per capita consumption of alcohol in France, Spain and Portugal is higher than in the United States, the rate of alcoholism and alcohol abuse is lower. A glass of wine at dinner is normal practice in Europe for all people .The kids learn how to drinking in moderation as a family activity rather than as in America were many people underage drinkers have to sneak away to go drinking . When banning drinking for young people it makes the alcohol a forbidden fruit for all people underage.
Another concept the government failed to understand was that, regardless of any laws in place,
