This paper will state which definition of intelligence best fits my instruments; Universal Nonverbal Intelligence Test, Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children, second edition, Wechsler Individual Achievement Test, third edition and Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement, second edition, Comprehensive Form. Achievement Assessments
The two achievement tests that I am critiquing are the Wechsler Individual Achievement Test- Third Edition (WIAT-III) and the Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement- Second Edition, Comprehensive Form (KTEA-II). The WIAT-II is designed to measure the achievement of students in prekindergarten through grade 12 in areas of listening, speaking, reading, writing and mathematics. The test is administered individually. The KTEA-II is used to test reading, mathematics, written language, and oral language as well as reading related skill areas. This assessment is used in comprehensive form. This test is administered individually for ages 4.6-25. This test takes 30-85 minutes to administer.

It measures symbolic memory, cube design, spatial memory, analogic reasoning, object memory, mazes, memory quotient, reasoning quotient, symbolic quotient nonsymbolic quotient, and full scale IQ. The test is administered individually for ages 5-17. The test can take up to 45 minutes to administer depending on the battery used (Abbreviated, Standard, or
