In general external environment, increasing population will increase the pub future revenue but decreasing income will decrease the demand of customers. In addition, the pub is facing high threat of substitute product, such as going to school club, coffee shop or other pub, therefore; the bargaining power of buyers is also high.

However, the barriers to entry is high, it has many complicated government rule to entry alcoholic market. By studying the internal environment, I compared the firm strengths and weaknesses. For the strength of the pub, it is the most social workplace on campus, it attracts many students coming .Also, manager has strong ties to the community and communication skill. In addition, the pub appearance is excellent. Moreover, the strategy of the club is cost leadership, it offered the lowest prices on alcoholic beverages in town and acceptable quality compare to competitors. However, there are some weaknesses of the pub. The pub had a special connection with the student base as their campus pub, but students were quick to move on to a different bar if it offered something more appealing. Also, it underperformance on the job, such as slow service as a bartender and summer revenue is low due to students leaving the town. Therefore; I provide some recommendations for the pub.
