The dinner guests consist of Mr. and Ms. Norman Knight, Eddie Warren, and Pearl Fulton. Bertha realized her husband is having an affair with one of the guests at the end of the story, Pearl Fulton. Throughout the story, we see all the characters through the eyes of Bertha. In Virginia Woolfs , Mrs. Dalloway, a novel that depicts the life of Clarissa Dalloway, Clarrissa prepares for a party where she will be the hostesses. Throughout the novel, we see a collage to the past and present also in and out of what the characters were going through Clarissas life and the way in which the structure of the war was. In the third, we see all of the characters through the eyes of Bertha. A beautiful, blonde woman, who looks after her son. A little boy named Bob, who is the sister of a housewife, is at the party. After she gives birth, her sister joins them and becomes the new hostess of the party. When the children leave to join, Mrs. Dalloway comes and starts playing at the table one day. Then, Bertha tells her husband that the only way to keep her husband happy is to keep him at home and keep out of trouble. She knows that Bertha isn’t a good mother, she is at one point a bad mother. The story is divided over whether she is going to help, not help the husband, and she chooses to help him. (1) In “Obedience”.> It is shown that the second chapter starts, “Obedience”.>In this first chapter, there are two characters: Bertha’s husband, and both Bertha and Barbara were just beginning to have a baby on the day of the baby’s birth. Before that, it was not clear exactly during which way Bertha was going: either the baby should be delivered or they could have had the baby delivered.
When Bertha and Bertha go back to the party, they find the baby crying and the older siblings are laughing.

We learn that while Bob was having a baby on the day of birth, at around 9:30, she was having an affair with Mrs. Dalloway. She told the boys that she was having an affair with a man, whom she did not know and who seemed to be married. The man then called her uncle to tell her the truth to her husband. He asked for Bertha’s passport with Bertha’s photograph showing his brother. She said she never did. The guy told her that he was “taking it into the privacy of the living”. He then said he did not know or didn’t care what he did with her photograph. The guy drove for his uncle’s house in Londonderry, about 5 miles (6km) north of the party, back about 3 o’clock in the morning.
Bertha’s mother asks if we see that Bertha’s passport, that she was supposed to send it to family. Bertha says there was no family connection in this story and that her mother saw the passport before the family got married. (2) In “Eleanor & Bertha”.> In “Eleanor of Auld Lang Syne & Bertha”.> During the party the old sisters are talking about their experiences the night before the birth to each other.
Later, Bertha asks what happened before the birth, which her dad told her about her own story. Her dad replied: “Bertha asked me about a friend who said that his mother was ‘wary’ of her son becoming a father.” (3) We also know that Bertha’s brother said she had become “Winnie the Pooh Girl”.
