In his article, The Effect of Using Visual Aids in Teaching Volleyball Skills to Physical Education Students, Moeen Ahmad Oudat, a teacher at The Hashemite University, describes his investigations regarding the theme of using visual aids in physical activities and games. Basically, 30 students were involved in this experiment. The professor divided them into two groups, namely the experimental and the control. Oudat informs that the instructional media consists of three groups, including visual aids, hearing aids, and the combination of both. In fact, visual aids include videotapes, films, television shows, images, posters, figures, and the list goes on. As a matter of the fact, volleyball, according to the author, is among the games in which visual aids demonstrate a terrific success. Lastly, it should be noted that the city of Jordan never experienced the use of this media. Naturally, it is an incredible idea to conduct the above-mentioned experiment in this particular city.
The author dwells on the issue of the teaching process and aids. He believes that teaching is only possible if there occurs communication between a teacher and a student.
