ClearPath Total Solutions (CTS) has began the installation of a state-of-the-art Security,Cable TV, Telephone, and Internet communications network in several new developments in Houston. This network will provide many benefits to the homeowners in these developments, and we believe our efforts will receive national attention based on the types of services delivered and the innovation associated with their delivery.

Many homeowners may choose a home based on technology innovations which offer services unavailable in other developments. Our initial offering of services will be as follows:

In order to support the technology initiatives associated with the delivery of services in todays and tomorrows communities; homes must be wired in a way, which will support the planned technical infrastructure. Specifications outlining the cabling needed for home entertainment equipment, satellite service, cable service, internet/modem connections, multiple telephone lines, in-home LAN connections, in-house video and home offices are provided herein.

Wiring Specifications for Homes
Wiring Solution Outline.
1. MDF Location.
In each home, a central location or Main Distribution Facility (MDF) must be identified to which ALL wiring must be home run. This includes all wiring of all types for security, data, video, and telephone wiring.

Services Entry.
Two category 5 wires and one RG-6 wire will be run from the outside of the house where services will enter to the MDF.
3. Multi-Function Faceplates and Boxes
Communications outlets will be located throughout the house that will provide telephone, data, modem, and Cable TV. Each wall plate will have a four port wall plate to install up to four different types of connections. A single gang box for each outlet will be nail to the 2X4 in each location. Faceplates will be located in each bedroom, living room, entertainment center, kitchen, study/gameroom and where appropriate. An average of seven outlets is recommended in preparation of this specification.

4. Data Wiring.
One Category 6 wire will be run from the MDF to each single gang box.
Telephone Wiring.
One Category 6 wire will be run from the MDF to each single gang box.
Cable TV Wiring.
Two RG-6 coax wires will be run from the MDF to each single gang box.
Security Wiring.
Security wiring will be installed in a star topology with different parts of the house connected on separate zones. Installation of wiring will be identical to the methodology utilized
