Double Indemnity
Double Indemnity is an American film noir, created in 1944. The director is Billy wilder, and co writer is Raymond Chandler. The movie starts with Walter Neff (Fred MacMurray) who is an insurance salesman, and falls in love with Phyllis Dietrichson (Barbara Stanwyck), a married woman who wishes her husband was dead. They met by Walter making a routine house call to renew insurance for her husband. And from that moment on, Walter knew he wanted to be with Phyllis. Together the plot a plan to kill her husband, by Phylliss husband “falling” off a moving train.

To fallow through the plan, Neff gets into the car with Phyllis and her husband. He hides behind the seat so no one can see him, and as they are driving to the train station, he comes behind Mr. Dietrichson and strangling him. When they reach the train station, Phyllis walks Walter, who is disguised as Mr. Dietrichson, and goes to the train, while the train is talking off, Walter jumps out and together they drag Mr. Dietrichsons body to the tracks.

In the end of the film, Walter claims that his death was “suicidal”, but Walters boss is smarter than that. In the end, Walter kills Phyllis, because the whole time she was lying about her loving him, and Phyllis before dying shot Walter. Walter, who comes to his work, bleeding, confesses everything that happens

I found this movie very disturbing, and definitely wont watch it again. I have never seen any movie like this, and isnt my favorite type of genres. But they did good job acting, and I did learn more about different ways of lust, and how corrupt people can be.
