The blower was turned on with the air output control knob on zero. The air output was increased slowly by turning the knob clockwise. The cart was placed on the track.One hook was inserted at one end of the glider and flag on the top of the glider. The mass of the glider was recorded and weighed.The mass of the hanger was measured and recorded as well.One end of the string was attached to the hanger and the other end of the glider. A mass of 20.0 g was placed on the hanger and the string was put over the pulley.The glider was released and the data was acquired. The glider was catch using hand before the hanger reaches the floor to avoid masses crashing to the floor and scattering.The experiment four was repeated more times with 20 g each time added to the hanger and the acceleration was recorded in the table.10.0 g was transferred from the hanger to the glider, hanging 5.0 g on each side.
