It is hard to see what the future in tells, also to know which view is the correct view on reality. Everyone can have different opinions on any particular subject and that is what “The Mad farmers Liberation, by Wendell Berry, is. A view and an opinion explains the happenings in this writing by describe a rant from one preaches to the way life should be lived. I agree with paper in a since that it brings me hope and makes me notice the small things in life, making me feel educated and better about living another day.
Mr. Berry’s view on how the world should be noticed is a gaggle of what should and should not be. The writing explains the works in a since to where a lower class can understand but to persuade the upper class to let go of some of the things not so important such as social media, advertisement and becoming nothing but a service industry that looses morals and profits from the back bone of the people. Using it as a rant, for farmers, is showing the opinion of the lower working class. This social section is struggling with supporting the service of a fixed service economy.
I like the moral references such as taking care of woman. Without women we cannot procreate and the birth of children is so easily looked over and disrespected. I know that the time of this poem was in the 70’s but this is when the baby boom I feel began. This era was after the 60’s in which people were all about free love. With that sometime came consequences like pregnancies, young and old. Its definitely a good example on how what he was saying was right. Through time disrespect for child birth, not taking care of your own children, getting pregnant earlier, and more casualties and pain inflicted on birthing mothers has increased.
