P.F. Changs

For the most part, it is considered a nice restaurant and you can go there expecting to be satisfied after your meal. However, my experience at this “nice” restaurant was far from satisfying. I should have seen it coming from the get go. I know for a fact that I will not waste my time going to this horrible place again, and I advise you to do the same. It all started out when my sister chose to go to P.F. Changs for her birthday. We had never been there before, and it was on the way home from Muskegon so we figured we’d give it a shot. Little did I know, this was going to be a terrible dining experience for my whole family and me. When we arrived at the restaurant, the outside landscaping and the interior of the waiting room looked extremely nice and we were all excited about trying the new restaurant with high expectations. When we got inside, it was all downhill from there. The hostess was extremely rude to us and others waiting to be seated. Just her tone of voice and the way she spoke to her customers was not pleasant. It was clear she did not want to be there, which in turn did not make us happy to be there, either.
After about forty minutes of standing in the tiny room with minimal seating, we finally got a table. It was in the back corner of the dimly lit dining room, next to a table with 4 kids that could not sit still to save their lives. We sat at our table for about 15 minutes until our waitress finally came, and she did not seem friendly whatsoever. Though our family was already pretty upset, we gave her a break, knowing that the restaurant was busy and she had a lot of tables to take care of. With the amount of people eating at the restaurant, they seemed extremely short staffed. The wait staff was clearly flustered with the amount of tables they had to take care of at once. They were running around the place like chickens with their heads cut off. It took our waitress around 10 minutes to get our drinks, not to mention they were all waters and sodas, to us. By this time we were all irritated and wanting to get the rest of our experience at this place over with. My family and I then ordered our meals and waited patiently to see what else could go wrong.Close to a half hour later our food arrived. The waitress asked if we needed anything else, then disappeared to her other tables. When we started examining our food, the disappointment factor really started to set in. First off, my sister asked them to make her orange chicken not spicy. When she took a bite of her chicken, he face immediately turned beat red and her eyes started watering. I tasted it, and I honestly thought my mouth was going to catch on fire. I felt so bad for her because she knew if she wanted to return it and ask them to remake it, it would have taken another half hour, so she just decided to not eat. My sister wasn’t the only one with a complaint about her food, though. Mine was actually cold, like not just a little warm, like it felt like it came out of the refrigerator. I’m not that picky though, and I was too annoyed to have to deal with another problem, so I just started eating my cold Mongolian beef. My mom ordered some sort of steak-looking thing and asked it to be cooked medium-well. When she cut into it I’m pretty sure the thing mooed. My mom is very picky about that kind of thing though so she sent hers back to be cooked a little longer. Of course it took about 15-20 minutes for it to come back, and it still looked too red to be medium let alone medium-well. My mom decided to give up and eat it. That’s not all that happened, though. When I was about halfway done with my barely thawed Mongolian beef, I noticed something sticking out from my plate. It was a long, black hair, tangled in with my beef, and nobody in my family has black hair. I almost gagged when I pulled it out, and immediately stopped eating. I was so over this place and wanted to leave immediately.
