They couldve talked to the parent about what their son was involved in and instead of flying the whole family to Australia they couldve settle the whole thing in the United State. The other thing is instead of making Bart apologize to the public he couldve just done it for the little boy he got in trouble with his father and try to settle the whole thing like grown-ups. The one thing I think Bart should have done is instead of calling all the way there he couldve asked his sister since she is smarter than him and she wouldve helped him out with the situation. And the other thing is that the little boys dad shouldve just had a talk with the Simpsons instead of getting the whole country involved in the whole thing. And the even when the government found out about this they couldve just settle the whole thing and since he is a kid they shouldve forgiven him for what he did when he didnt know exactly what he was doing. And when they brought the shoe out to kick his butt with it, thats where they cross the line because you do not do that and he is only still a child that doesnt know any better and since they know that he did that then they should talk to his whole family or they shouldve asked his family to pay the phone bill that he went over. And plus they should gotten to talk to the American government too and make everything simpler than the way they handled it.
