Dear Mr. Thompson Winston Churchill was arguably one of the best and most patriotic Briton you will ever see, if not the best. His determination  and  speeches was often seen as unnecessary but at the end , he did have the last laugh and drove this country to a successive victorious war in 1945. Churchill has been studied all around the country to engage young readers in having the knowledge to learn in the various strategic and tactical ways he won the war. In addition , they also read on how Churchill was the Chancellor of Exchequer, his relationships and most importantly how he was âsent to the wildernessâ. Here are some reasons why I think Churchill should be very valid, if not compulsory in studying around the country. In 1940, Britain had been dominated by the USA to the extent that we had to agree to a strategy with them. This shows that USA were similar of the most powerful country in the world. This shows how much a second successive win the war had an effect in Britain , there was a balance of power. Churchill however , was a strong factor in winning the war and it shows how important he is . Nowadays , we have a greater exchange rate than the Americans which emphasizes how far we have come . Studying Churchill allow readers to imagine how the world was during the war, to let them feel the annoyance and disappointment the British might have felt knowing they will have to take commands from a greater and strong ally.Furthermore, the  reason why the topic of Churchill  should be studied because Churchill simply has relevant speeches of the past , present and future. Churchill , with so many of his trademarks quotes, said in the House of Commons â Now we are entering in a world of imponderables, and at every stage self-questioning arises .It is a mistake to look far ahead .â to show how visionary he is . This quote explains how we are in a world full of complex sights and obstacles and very difficult to predict the future. This quote could be a guideline to the readers who think they have everything planned out and for the people that think they know everything when they donât : Churchill speaks out to them as he himself, was a victim of predicting the future.
