Yo-Ho-Ho, A pirates life for me. In 2004, WizKids card company created a game based on pirates. It used ships that could be constructed into small models and crew which could go on the constructed ship. It was the first time a card game was made that expanded into a large Three-Dimensional environment enhanced game. “Pirates of the Spanish main” is a great game.
Everything needed in order to play the game comes in each pack. Every game pack comes with a die, treasure, rule book, construction sheet, crew, two ships, and an island. Even if you buy only a few packs, you may still play the game. If you would like to acquire more ships to play with or would like to collect the entire set you may purchase more for the price of an overall pack of cards is lower than most other card games( examples: Magic is four dollars and twenty five cents per pack, Pokemon is four dollars per pack, and Yu-Gi-Oh is three dollars and fifty cents per pack). The low cost lets an even larger spectrum of people play the game. This adds to its already revolutionary concept.

You punch out the pieces and, using the construction sheet as the blue prints, put them together to create a ship. It is a revolutionary idea that has put pressure on other companies to create a game just like it. Most card games are just drawings on sheets of paper, but with “Pirates Of The Spanish Main” you can hold your ship in your hand because it is a Three-Dimensional, real life object. The ships correspond with islands, crew, terrain, forts, and sea ports to create a scale model Caribbean world to play in.
