One method of defining marketing can be the ability of what marketing can do. The goals, performance, and accomplishments for any company. One example is Walmart has one of the biggest retailer in the world everyone buys their services, products, and goods in one of their many retail stores. Consumers knows about Walmart and have dwindled in one of their stores on a weekly basis. Consumers want a bargain at a low price, but with great quality attached to the prices. As the economy rebuilds its self Walmart has built their products, services, and goods around the average consumers price range to be able to afford to shop for clothing, groceries, and other products we all need. The importance of marketing can become complicated in retail because it allows Walmart to remain one of the top retail giants. Walmart has done their homework to cater to the needs of consumers, culture, economy, competition, and what consumers want at a reasonable price.(Walmart 2014)

My second way of defining marketing is knowing the needs of people and the needs of the economy. A prime example is E-commerce shopping(Amazon 2013)became a huge cash cow over the past ten years. Amazon products and services are inexpensive to consumers, but a threat to other retail companies. Amazon has identified the needs of this market and also realized that consumers, goods, services, and products at a reasonable lower price than retail stores that you can just walk into. Amazon created the idea of selling products, services, and goods online made it more convent for consumers to buy items right in the comfort of there home, instead of going out to a actual retail store, crowded mall, or dealing with the likes of society in general. Amazon meets the consumer needs of inexpensive products by selling them online at a cheaper price. The gimmick is to cut cost by eliminating retail stores, but to keep in mind to meet the consumers needs. Without marketing these ideas would have other effects , and Amazon would not be a successful E-commerce online company as we see Amazon today in business.

Amazon has created the concept of a “E-commerce business” with a business model of distribution to ensure fulfillment of order bookings. When the fulfillment of a product is done, consumers feel the goods are there for sale. This product is sold to a trusted person as a thank you gift, only to walk away and return the product for what was once being purchased. Amazon has created unique and scalable solutions to the requirements of each customer, with more than one way to provide the goods or services, and better marketing to consumers. E-commerce and online shopping

There are many, many different ways to provide products and services to consumers. As e-commerce companies, they can be very efficient and even extremely profitable, so their products are always better than the way we currently see them. Also, they can also be a good business for other businesses, as businesses which do not have full-time employees, may have a difficult time paying their members dues so a business with online shopping can pay its employees better and has a large amount of profits. E-commerce and online shopping are great opportunities for a business to provide services faster, to have different kinds of goods and services provided on a regular basis, and it is important to realize that an online business gets the customer, not all products, and then creates a business model which pays its employees better and in line with the consumer.

The current situation regarding e-commerce is very similar to how our traditional grocery stores are business models. Our e-commerce systems are limited and very specific. In our e-commerce business, we are very limited in how much we can offer our customers and the quality of their services. We sell to just a few small retailers which are very well known and are able to offer very well. A small supermarket has 50% more online than a large grocery store. But these are small stores. And they have less staff, so we sell to small suppliers. The problem is they are very expensive to run and it will take them a while to pay the full price for a product. When we have the right system, we offer this in the marketplace.

The other solution is to build up existing online stores. We sell our products to only a few small retailers where they are not even big enough that they can offer many products on a regular basis. In that way we still sell to them well off. But they are getting screwed for being too expensive. Many small businesses run out of people to buy them. This has become a huge problem. It is a problem for everybody. When a company is out of it’s financials, it is easy to run down and lose customers, and it is also a problem for Amazon and the businesses around it.

This is why the next great opportunity on Earth is to provide products and services to online shoppers.
