The quote “No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world” from the movie Dead Poets Society rings true to me and to the world. I believe that writing is your way of reaching people, to draw them in to your world and your views on many different topics. Much like members of the Dead Poet Society, I have a passion for writing, since it not only teach me new things but also helps me to maybe teach others. I like to write because it provides me a release, allows me to create a new world and lets me put my thoughts into word.
As humans we all run through a series of emotion each and every day and some people use drugs or other substances to handle the rush. I choose to listen to music or read poetry because I can allow emotions to flourish. To quote Dead Poet Society, “We dont read and write poetry because its cute. I love being able to transplant myself to another world and create a new environment without even leaving my house. The ability to do this lets my creative energy flow and my visionary ideals come to life. I really enjoy being able to take a thought and turn it into a reality somewhat. I am able to share my journeys and explorations through the liberal art of words, and it saddens me that todays world has seemed to have become desensitized of meaningful metalinguistic awareness. I think that in todays technological 21st century world, the internet, as well as online trends can easily spread the beauty of word and others aesthetic creations. I try to avoid the easy turn in my writings and I always take time to make it self-referent and personally meaningful, which sometimes can tap into your soul and reveal parts, feelings and emotions you never knew you had inside.
The way the world is today, there are numerous amounts of issues and topics to have a view on. Politics, religion, and culture, only encompass a few topics among the plethora of issues that society poses upon an individual. I love to talk and write about
