You can always find one out of two people walking around carrying ridiculously expensive items. Coach is one trend that people have seemed to gravitate to. May be is the quality or may be is just the name brand that they enjoy. What ever it is, it has become a big fashion trend among young teenagers.
A big part of advertising for Coach would have to be “A” list celebrities them selves. Don’t be too surprised to find one or two pictures of Paris Hilton or Nicole Richie on a top fashion magazine, flaunting a Coach bag or showing off a new collection of Coach Footwear. Coach’s ads are all very similar, very colorful and always seem to have beautiful men and women. Extremely thin and light skinned models are of preference for Coach Ads. There’s no question to why teenagers want to have all of the new Coach products.
Teenagers are very easily influenced. There’s no doubt in my mind, why you see young girls trying to look like all of the celebrities. They want to be wearing products such as Coach, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci. The only thing on there minds, is trying to fit in and trying to look “cool.” Young girls will go so far as to imitate someone else’s life style, one which they may not be able to afford.
I was surprised by the amount of teenagers that buy Coach Products, so I decided to go to our Antelope Valley Mall. There we can find a Dillard’s store, which has a variety of Coach Products. My observations are very predictable. Almost eight out of ten consumers are teenage girls. Which left me wondering, who is paying for this three hundred and seventy-eight dollars purses or one hundred and eighty dollar shoes?
If Coach Products are so expensive, why are parents choosing Coach Products for their thirteen year olds? I asked a consumer, why was she buying a Coach product for her daughter? And she said, “I don’t know why, she has just been bothering me now for about a month.” And then I asked her if she had a problem paying that amount for the purse she just purchased? She said, “Is a little more than what I would have wished for, but she gets good grades and she is a really good girl.” Parents don’t always realize what they are contributing to. This woman for example is buying her daughter a purse that is four hundred and fifty dollars. I guess her having good grades justifies the present.
All of these beautiful products that Coach offers are extremely expensive. One Coach Bag can coast you from one hundred to six hundred dollars. Comparing the price of a purse
