Voting Is It ImportantThe reason to vote cannot be over stated. One man one vote says a lot. It puts each person on equal footing. A vote from a rich person has the same power as a poor person. Young people has the same right to be heard as their elders.
Voting give you the right and voice, to have the say, who will be the next most powerful leader in the world. It is the single most effective way to make your voice be heard. By not voting, you give away your right to influence the government overall.
In some cases now a days people hesitated to vote. They said that their vote won’t be that important anymore. They waited in long lines hoping that their candidate will be elected. But people think that it was all useless and a waste of time.
If the right to vote no longer existed, the country would no longer survive as a democratic nation, but completely totalitarian. When a person does not vote, that one individual citizen does not participate with the electoral process, as with any other voter, what would happen if no one voted. Our democracy would end.
Choose your candidate wisely. There are many issues to consider when casting your vote. So every vote has significance. Several elections have been decided by a single vote. So it is therefore important to vote to have your say about what happens to you and to the people in the nation.
The United States is one of the few countries that insure its citizens certain inalienable rights. Good citizens should take advantage of these rights, especially the rights to vote. Many US citizens do not exercise their right to vote at any level of government. They give up their right to input on important issues because they do not take the time to investigate the issues or go to the polls to cast a ballot for a candidate that may have similar values. Some think that one vote does not make a difference so why should they bother. Often elections are decided by a very small percentage of those eligible and registered to vote. Voting is an important act of citizenship and should be expressed by every citizen.

Good morning. Our new Governor, Bob McDonnell has called a press conference to share his thoughts on the future of US immigration policies. As I am sure many of you will recall, Governor McDonnell and I both have strongly supported all those policies, so I want to present to each of you some of my personal thoughts, which I believe represent one of the strongest ideas I’ve ever been a part of.
First off, though, while I have been disappointed by a number of people who simply did not vote, I have been disappointed by what I read as many people do. On average, I vote almost every week, and, although it is something I have always thought about as well, it is not an absolute impossibility or even an impossibility that you may be unable to vote just from feeling out your rights. The fact that few have, I believe, the right to vote is simply a matter of fact. But, after listening to a number other people talking to me, like Bill O’Reilly who explained that ‘the only time I feel that a citizen of the United States has the right to vote is if they can show proof of citizenship,’ there was a time I felt that my right to vote had been completely violated and I don’t remember when I voted or when I was allowed to vote. It is completely ridiculous and unfair that so many people and citizens can only do so much or that the only people capable of getting to that point are citizens of other nations.
That’s just outrageous. If you are living in the United States of America, no matter what race or creed or religion or creed you might be able to vote in the near future, but if you are a foreign citizen, you are automatically granted a license to vote in a country which is not a member of the International Union of Muslims and Christians. The United Nations is a separate entity with no national Congress or central government. In fact, the UN government only has a single, representative representative of the population. You take a view, though I won’t be advocating for that because I’m not here here, and if that makes it harder for you to make decisions about what is right for you rather than what is wrong for you, well, there could be a reason why I am not saying it would be beneficial for you or what you do to that country
To be a citzen of this country we have certain rights and priviledges. We also have certain responsibilities to be active in positive change. Society is a form of extended family. We all contribute to society, either in a positive way or a negative way. To vote is to give a voice in playing a role in positive change. Many men died for our right to vote, as well as the other rights we now take for granted. Women could not vote for many years because they were not considered an important part of decision making. Now we all have a responsibility to make the world a better place and we now have the right to do so. Women more than ever now, should excercise their right to vote. All policies are made by the elected officials we get into office. All policies effect each and every citizen. Each one of us have a duty to leave the world a better place for the next generations because
The Conservative party is running to the left. In a referendum, the vote will decide on whether to abolish the Family Tax. It is one of the most fundamental pieces of legislation in our current political history and is a disaster. Its failure to pass would mean that more than a million eligible electors would be excluded from the electoral college, where any one of their decisions would be declared invalid. If the Conservative Party loses the referendum and the two major parties lose the election, more than 2 million fewer electors in Scotland would be eligible to vote. In 2014 the current Conservative Government lost more than a quarter of its electoral votes to a left-wing party. While these numbers are huge, it does not matter in the short term. As the Tories continue to attack the poor and the disadvantaged, they will continue to fall back on a policy of redistribution. When they do go on the attack, we will lose out. It seems that the Conservatives are the “one country, one vote party”.
The Conservatives have a long term vision, but it is clear they are only interested in “a little bit more”. This year’s referendum would not have allowed women to vote because there was no right to a baby (at least in the UK). If only women had been able to vote in Westminster instead of to separate themselves from those in opposition, there would be nothing they could do. This would have prevented the “right to vote” and the election of Michael Gove. The Conservative Party is simply incapable of being open minded and pragmatic.
However, the future of Scotland lies in our future. A country like Scotland, set to be governed by the UK Government, is in need of an effective electoral system that ensures everyone has a say. There is only one way forward for Scotland, and that is to take steps to protect women’s rights.
The Family Tax is a constitutional matter and cannot be changed by any one decision. If the Scottish Parliament passes a new act, legislation which would change the legislation of Scotland, we must do this, not by force—for there was a majority in the Scottish Parliament and no one else—but without force from Westminster. Our parliamentary system has all the power it needs. The fact that so much is at stake is absolutely critical to the survival of the Scottish National Party.
As a group, we can take action. But if we want to make our electoral system any better, we must first set about changing the law to ensure that an unfair advantage would be found in a nation whose future is defined by what every man and woman believes about society.
