I am a 50 year old male who just started college. It is so hard for me right now. I do not have a clue to what I am doing. I need to get some skillls so I can have the hope of getting some kind of job security. I may be too late. I advise all young people to get a college degree while you have a chance in your youth. goall to get into the legal profession maybe criminal justice or working at the courthouse. I have been married twice and I have three children. I pushed my kids to do well in school, but non of them went to college. I will be the first in my family to go to college. I am trying my best to do well, with tutors and such.
I am just learning basic computer skills, I getting the hang of it. I know that once I finish my degree I will succeed in what I do. A lot of older people are scared to go back to school, because they feel they can not keep up. There is a lot of help us for us out here. We just have to build up the motivation to apply and learn. The only thing that stops us is ourselves. I was scared at first, it took me awhile to enroll, but I did it.
